PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s house is expected to be a hive of activity with visits from ministers and others today.
So far, Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who was appointed the deputy prime minister yesterday, and Attorney-General Idrus Harun have been seen heading to Muhyiddin’s residence in Bukit Damansara here.
Media representatives have also started gathering in front of the house.
This comes following last night’s Umno Supreme Council meeting, which decided to formally withdraw the party’s support for Muhyiddin as the prime minister.
Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi also called for Muhyiddin to resign, for failing to fulfil the two requirements the party had set to justify support for the Perikatan Nasional-led administration.-FMT
