KUANTAN, 14 October 2022 (The Capital Post)- Pahang Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, announced the dissolution of the Pahang state assembly, said he allowed the state election to be held simultaneously with the 15th General Election (GE15).
Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy said he had approached the Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to get approval for the dissolution of the state assembly.
He further stated in accordance with Clause (2) Article 26 Part Two of the Constitution of the Government of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal has agreed for the 14th Pahang State Assembly to be dissolved with effect from today (14 October 2022)
He said this at a special press conference at Wisma Sri Pahang here today which was also attended by State Secretary Datuk Seri Dr Sallehuddin Ishak and all members of the Pahang State Government Meeting Council. – The Capital Post
