KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 — A 25-year-old painter pleaded guilty at the Sessions Court here today to committing incest against his sister.

He made the plea after the charge was read out to him before Judge Mahyon Talib.
He was charged with committing the against his 21-year-old sister at a house at Jalan Sepakat Off Klang Lama here, last August.

The charge was framed under Section 376B of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of 30 years’ jail and with whipping upon conviction.
The court set Jan 5 for sentencing following a request by deputy public prosecutor Nurliyana Mohd Jafri for a mention date to submit the facts of the case and for sentencing.- BERNAMA
