Ringgit weakens past 4.2000 against US dollar

KUALA LUMPUR (July 14): The ringgit weakened past 4.2000 against the US dollar in morning trade today as the US dollar strengthened and as investors weighed Malaysia’s political and Covid-19 situation while taking cue of the country’s vaccination progress to curb the spread of the pandemic.

At 8:41am today, the ringgit was traded at 4.2013 against the US dollar compared to yesterday’s closing exchange rate of 4.1920.

So far today, the ringgit was traded between 4.1988 and 4.2023 versus the US dollar.-The Edge Market
