Earlier, European markets climbed amid quarterly results. Investors are expecting a 25 basis-point rate hikes by the Federal Reserve and European Central Bank today and tomorrow respectively.
On the local market, the FBM KLCI surged 12.10 points or 0.85% to 1436.79 points.
“Following the recent bullish momentum, the FBM KLCI could take a breather under the resistance of 1,437 points,” said Apex.
