KOTA KINABALU, 11 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Awang Alik Jeman paid a courtesy visit to Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor at Menara Kinabalu today.
According to information shared via the official Facebook page of the Kementerian Dalam Negeri facebook , the visit was attended by Deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Control) Datuk Makhzan Mahyuddin and Deputy Secretary-General (Management) Ainah Mohd Soon.
The meeting served as an important platform to discuss several matters involving security issues, border management, immigration control, as well as strategic cooperation between the Federal Government and the Sabah State Government in strengthening the state’s security and well-being.

Also present during the session were Director-General of the Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency, Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, Sabah Immigration Director Datuk Sh Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof, Sabah State Secretary Datuk Seri Panglima Safar Untong, and Sabah Internal Affairs and Research Secretary Datuk Awang Shahminan Awang Sahari.
The meeting reflects the continued commitment between the Federal Government and the Sabah State Government in strengthening strategic cooperation to ensure security, stability and the interests of the people and the nation remain safeguarded. -The Capital Post
