KUALA LUMPUR, 13 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — The Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) is strengthening its communication strategy and media relations through a working engagement visit to The Edge headquarters in Damansara.
According to information shared on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah, the visit was led by KKDW Corporate Communications chief Nor Najihah Sukor alongside representatives from the ministry’s Corporate Communications Unit (UKK).
The engagement session was organised as a proactive effort to enhance a more holistic communication approach through strategic collaboration with media partners.
The session also aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and expand professional networks between KKDW and The Edge while providing deeper exposure to editorial management practices and the current needs of the mainstream media industry.

During the visit, the KKDW delegation was given insights into the evolving media landscape and current industry challenges.
