JAKARTA, 16 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Huawei successfully concluded the 10th Huawei ICT Competition APAC Finals and Awards Ceremony at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia, bringing together top student talents from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The competition, organised by Huawei and co-hosted by the ASEAN Foundation, attracted more than 8,600 students from 14 countries and regions who participated in various categories under the Practice Competition and Innovation Competition.
The Practice Competition featured cloud, network and computing tracks, allowing participants to demonstrate their technical knowledge and problem-solving capabilities in key areas of information and communications technology (ICT).
Following several rounds of intense selection and evaluation, more than 160 students from 13 countries and regions advanced to the APAC Finals, where they competed and showcased innovative ideas and technical expertise.

The Huawei ICT Competition serves as a platform to nurture digital talent and strengthen ICT capabilities among youth across the region, while encouraging innovation and collaboration within the growing digital economy ecosystem.
