PDRM, Economy Ministry Align on Future Development Plans

KUALA LUMPUR, June 3, 2026 (The Capital Post) – According to information shared on the official Facebook page of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Inspector-General of Police (IGP) IG Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail received a courtesy visit from Deputy Secretary-General (Sectoral) of the Ministry of Economy, Datuk Badrul Hisham Mohd, at Bukit Aman today.

The meeting was aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation between PDRM and the Ministry of Economy, particularly in discussions related to the force’s development planning and funding requirements under the Second Rolling Plan of the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) for 2027.

The engagement also provided an avenue for both parties to exchange views on development priorities and initiatives aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities and infrastructure of the police force.

Also present at the meeting were Director of the Logistics and Technology Department CP Redzuan Abd Hamid and Secretary of the Royal Malaysia Police DCP Dato’ Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali.
