KUALA LUMPUR, 10 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – Malaysia’s public sector digital transformation agenda reached another milestone following the handover of the Parliamentary Hansard System by the Ministry of Digital to Parliament Malaysia.

Digital Minister YB Gobind Singh Deo officiated the handover ceremony, marking a significant step towards modernising the management and accessibility of parliamentary records through digital technology.

Developed by the Ministry of Digital through GovTech Malaysia, the system enhances the management of parliamentary debate records by providing a digital platform that enables faster, more accurate and efficient search, analysis and referencing functions.

According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Digital, the implementation of the system strengthens transparency, accountability and public access to information, allowing records of proceedings from both the Dewan Rakyat and Dewan Negara to be accessed more easily through a systematic and user-friendly platform.
