KUSKOP Strengthens Cooperative Agenda Through Johor Engagement Session

JOHOR BAHRU, 5 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) continued its efforts to strengthen Malaysia’s cooperative movement through an engagement session with officers and staff of the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM) Johor at the commission’s state office.

According to a Facebook post by Datuk Mohamad Alamin, the session provided an opportunity to share KUSKOP’s direction and aspirations while gathering direct feedback, views and proposals from SKM Johor personnel on matters related to the development of the cooperative sector.

He said open communication and close collaboration are essential in ensuring that the government’s agenda to empower the cooperative movement can be implemented effectively for the benefit of the people.

Datuk Mohamad Alamin also expressed appreciation to the officers and staff of SKM Johor for their warm reception and commitment throughout the session, expressing hope that the discussions and initiatives outlined would translate into greater progress for the cooperative movement and contribute to the well-being of the rakyat.
