Tangkak, 6 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Nearly 500 parents and children attended the Alpha Gen Talents@KEMAS District-Level Programme in Tangkak, an initiative aimed at nurturing the holistic development of children enrolled in TABIKA KEMAS.

The programme, held at Padang Kampung Sagil, Parit 3, was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who spent time interacting with participants and families while observing various activities, including futsal, netball and other educational programmes.

Alpha Gen Talents@KEMAS 2026 serves as a talent development platform designed to identify and nurture the natural abilities of TABIKA KEMAS children while supporting the goal of producing a well-rounded generation with strong values.

In his address, Ahmad Zahid reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening early childhood education through three key priorities: enhancing English language learning with the use of emerging technologies, maintaining a strong foundation in Islamic education through Fardu Ain and Fardu Kifayah, and expanding Quran memorisation programmes to enable children to complete Juzuk 30 at an early age.
