KUALA LUMPUR, 8 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay received a courtesy call from a delegation of Yayasan Restu at the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) headquarters in Bukit Aman on Tuesday.
The delegation was led by Yayasan Restu and Nasyrul Quran Board of Trustees member as well as Surau Nasyrul Quran chairman Ustaz Mohd Shaffizal Abdul Hameed.
The meeting was held to obtain PDRM’s views and support regarding Yayasan Restu’s initiative to deliver 40,000 copies of the Quran to Tamil Nadu, India, as well as to assist with the distribution of Qurans to rural communities across Malaysia.

Also present were Bukit Aman Special Branch II Deputy Director CP Mohammad Shaharul Md Osman, Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (Religious Affairs and Counselling) Deputy Director DCP Azhan Abdul Halim, and Management Department (Training) Deputy Director DCP Marzukhi Mohd Mokhtar.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Polis Diraja Malaysia ( Royal Malaysia Police ), the courtesy call reflects continued cooperation between PDRM and Yayasan Restu in supporting community and humanitarian initiatives. – The Capital Post.
