KUALA LUMPUR, 8 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Malaysia reinforced its position as a regional maritime and logistics hub with the official opening of ASEAN Ports & Logistics 2026 by Transport Minister Loke Siew Fook.
Held from 7 to 9 July at Sofitel Damansara, the prestigious conference and exhibition is organised by the Ministry of Transport (MOT) through the Port Klang Authority in collaboration with Transport Event Management.
The three-day event brings together more than 300 delegates from 20 countries, including port authorities, shipping companies, logistics service providers and industry stakeholders to discuss key issues shaping the maritime and logistics sectors.
Among the topics highlighted are digital transformation, smart port development, supply chain digitalisation and the decarbonisation of the maritime industry.

The conference reflects Malaysia’s continued commitment to strengthening regional cooperation, enhancing the competitiveness of the maritime and logistics industry, and developing more resilient, efficient and sustainable supply chains in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.
