SEREMBAN, July 21, 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Transport (MOT) conducted a working visit and project briefing at Seremban Railway Station to review the completion of the station’s upgrading and restoration works.
The visit was attended by Minister of Transport Loke Siew Fook, together with the senior management of MOT, the Railway Assets Corporation (RAC), Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), the Public Works Department (JKR), and DMIA.
The primary objective of the visit was to assess the progress of the restoration project and inspect the upgraded facilities and infrastructure at the historic railway station.

According to the ministry, the initiative reflects the Government’s ongoing commitment to preserving the nation’s railway assets and safeguarding heritage buildings for future generations.
MOT said the upgrading project is also aligned with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI, particularly its values of sustainability and well-being, by preserving the country’s historical heritage while providing safer, more comfortable and higher-quality public transport facilities.
