SEREMBAN, Negeri Sembilan, 1 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The voter turnout for the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election stood at 28.11 per cent as of 11.00 am today, with 241,669 out of 859,760 registered voters having cast their ballots.
According to the latest update by Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia (SPR), the highest voter turnout was recorded in N.01 Chennah at 34.3 per cent, followed by N.04 Klawang at 33.3 per cent and N.16 Seri Menanti at 32.4 per cent.
The lowest voter turnout was recorded in N.30 Lukut at 24.4 per cent, while N.11 Lobak and N.08 Bahau each recorded 24.8 per cent.

The turnout recorded so far has surpassed the 27.13 per cent voter turnout recorded during the 15th Negeri Sembilan State Election in 2023 as of 11.00 am.
Voting continues today across polling centres throughout Negeri Sembilan, with voters urged to exercise their responsibility and cast their ballots within the designated polling period. – The Capital Post
