PUTRAJAYA, 30 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of National Unity held the full rehearsal for the Wellbeing Contingent themed “Unity in Diversity” ahead of the 2026 National Day celebrations in Putrajaya.
The rehearsal featured participants from diverse backgrounds coming together as part of preparations for the National Day celebrations, showcasing the spirit of unity and togetherness among Malaysians.
The ministry said the rehearsal reflected Malaysia’s diversity in terms of colours, cultures and backgrounds, while highlighting the importance of standing together as one nation.
The event also featured the waving of the Jalur Gemilang as participants went through the full rehearsal ahead of the National Day celebrations on 31 August 2026.

The Ministry of National Unity said the contingent represents the face and spirit of Malaysia, where diversity serves as a foundation for strengthening national unity.
