PUTRAJAYA, 1 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) and the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS) are strengthening strategic cooperation to ensure the effective implementation of the Private Smallholders’ Farm Road (JLPK) project.
KPK Secretary-General YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah Mohd Yusof held a meeting with JPS Director-General YBhg. Datuk Ir. Mohamad Radzi Abdul Talib to coordinate the implementation of the JLPK project.
The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination between KPK and JPS to ensure the project is implemented effectively and completed within the current year as planned.
The JLPK project seeks to improve infrastructure and accessibility in plantation areas, while supporting the production and marketing of agrocommodity products.

The project is also expected to provide direct benefits to smallholder communities in line with the Cakna MADANI Initiative.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Perladangan dan Komoditi – KPK, the cooperation between KPK and JPS is aimed at ensuring the effective delivery of the JLPK project for the benefit of smallholder communities. – The Capital Post
