KUALA LUMPUR, 12 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Home Ministry (KDN) is reviewing 73 key performance indicators (KPIs) as part of efforts to strengthen implementation and ensure its strategic targets remain effective and relevant.
The Ministry of Home Affairs Strategic Planning Meeting (MPSKDN) No. 1/2026 was held from 9 to 11 September at M Resort & Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
The meeting brought together KDN’s senior leadership, division secretaries and directors-general of departments and agencies under the ministry.
Discussions focused on reviewing the achievement status of 47 KPIs under the KDN Strategic Plan 2026–2030 and 26 KPIs under the KDN Focus 2026.

The ministry also assessed the effectiveness and continued relevance of the existing KPIs while identifying implementation issues that could affect the achievement of established targets.
Intervention measures were discussed to address the identified challenges, alongside recommendations to amend, remove or introduce KPIs where necessary.
