KUALA LUMPUR, 13 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Digital Ministry is bringing Malaysia’s digital transformation and AI Nation 2030 agenda closer to the public through its participation in the 67th Parliament of Malaysia Open Day 2026.
The ministry’s booth attracted visitors on the first day of the event on Saturday (12 September), providing information on national digital initiatives, technologies and services.
Five key areas are being highlighted — Digital Services, Public Sector Digitalisation, Your Personal Data, AI Malaysia 2030 and Rakyat Digital.
Among the initiatives showcased are MyGOV Malaysia, the MyGovernment Portal, Parliament Hansard and Policy Repository, the Public Sector Digitalisation Plan (RPSA), personal data protection rights, the National AI Action Plan 2026–2030 and programmes aimed at strengthening digital skills among Malaysians.
Digital Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Fabian Bigar also visited the booth to review the activities and information being presented to visitors.
The ministry said public participation provides an opportunity for Malaysians to better understand technological developments, digital services and their role in supporting the country’s aspiration to become an AI Nation by 2030.

The Parliament of Malaysia Open Day was officially launched by Dewan Rakyat Speaker YB Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Johari Abdul together with Dewan Negara President YB Senator Dato’ Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah.
The event carries the theme “Merakyatkan Parlimen: Reformasi Institusi Perundangan Malaysia”.
The Digital Ministry’s booth at Booth 16, Parliament of Malaysia Multipurpose Hall, remains open to visitors until 13 September 2026.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Digital Ministry, its participation aims to give the public greater exposure to Malaysia’s digital initiatives and the country’s AI Nation 2030 aspiration. – The Capital Post
