BANGI, 22 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) celebrated 1,610 graduates of the 2025 National Professional Qualification for Educational Leaders (NPQEL) programme at its 25th Commencement Ceremony.
The two-session ceremony, held at Bangi Avenue Convention Centre (BACC) on Monday (21 September), was officiated by Education Minister YB Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek for the first session and Deputy Education Minister YB Wong Kah Woh for the second.
In her address, Fadhlina emphasised integrity as a foundation of leadership and compassion as a key principle in leading educational institutions, particularly as the sector faces challenges arising from artificial intelligence (AI).
NPQEL graduates were also urged to translate the Malaysia Education Plan (RPM) 2026–2035 from policy into tangible outcomes in classrooms to develop future generations who are knowledgeable, principled and possess strong values.

The ceremony also saw Encik Izady bin Ibrahim receive the Outstanding NPQEL Graduate Award for the overall secondary school category, while Encik Barmuli bin Parudin received the award for the overall primary school category.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Education Malaysia, the ceremony recognised the achievements and commitment of the 2025 NPQEL graduates in strengthening educational leadership in the country. – The Capital Post
