Pahang Records 599 Development Projects Worth Nearly RM36 Billion

PAHANG, 6 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – Pahang has recorded 599 development projects worth nearly RM36 billion in 2026, covering sectors including infrastructure, transportation, education, healthcare, water supply, tourism, rural development and the economy.

Economy Minister Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah Haji Mohd Nasir discussed the state’s development progress and future plans during a meeting with the Pahang Menteri Besar today.

The meeting focused on strengthening coordination between the Federal Government and Pahang State Government to ensure development projects are implemented effectively and deliver tangible benefits to residents.

Attention was also given to the Gebeng Halal Industrial Park and other development projects with the potential to stimulate economic activity, attract investment and create employment opportunities in the state.

The Ministry of Economy said stronger federal-state cooperation would remain important in translating development plans into effective implementation while supporting Pahang’s economic growth.
