KUALA LUMPUR, 10 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – Communications Ministry Deputy Secretary-General (Strategic Communications and Creative Industry) Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil attended a live screening of the Budget 2027 presentation by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Menara Komunikasi on Friday.
Budget 2027, themed “Malaysia MADANI: Reaching for the Sky, Rooted in the Earth”, focuses on three key pillars aimed at strengthening the country’s economic development and improving the well-being of Malaysians.
The three priorities include raising the country’s economic growth potential, improving the quality of life of the people and strengthening national governance reforms.
The budget framework reflects the government’s focus on balancing economic expansion with public welfare and institutional improvements.

Also present at the screening were Strategic and Corporate Communications Division Secretary Naim Fahmi Ahmad Tajuddin and Orange Economy Council Secretariat Head Dr. Ahmad Syazli Muhd Khiar.
