PETALING JAYA: The Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations continue with a host of organisations and individuals organising open houses, including the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti).
MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said he was honoured to have been among those who attended the Miti open house on Tuesday (May 16), at the invitation of Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.
“Honoured to be invited by Tengku Zafrul to the Miti Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2023 open house,” the Ayer Hitam MP said in a Facebook post Tuesday.
Dr Wee also said Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, the Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tunku Besar Seri Menanti Tunku Ali Redhauddin had graced the auspicious occasion.
“Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and other invited guests, including foreign dignitaries, also attended the event,” said Dr Wee.
Guests at the open house sampled traditional Hari Raya dishes while beIng entertained by performances from local artistes such as Black, Haziq Rosebi and Asmidar.
The Aidilfitri open house was attended by 2,800 visitors, including staff members from agencies under the ministry. – The Star
