KUALA LUMPUR: The Dewan Rakyat is scheduled to debate and pass the resolution to annul the emergency ordinances today, the last day of sitting of the first meeting of the fourth session.

According to the order paper, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob will propose the resolution to annul the Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance 2021, the Emergency (Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021 and the Emergency (Employees Minimum Standards of Housing, Accommodation and Amenities (Amendment) 2021.
Earlier, the ministers’ question time is expected to see issues such as the security pact among the US, UK and Australia (AUKUS), as well as the status and rights of civil servants who do not want to be vaccinated raised.
