Police and state veterinary department officers inspected a lorry in Taman Industri Jaya at 11.10pm on March 6 and found 90 pork carcass cuts, suspected to have been smuggled from a neighbouring country.

The suspect failed to produce valid ownership documents, and veterinary authorities confirmed the meat did not come from any licensed or approved slaughterhouse.

It led to the seizure of 90 pork carcass cuts (equivalent to 45 pigs), and the lorry.
