PETALING JAYA: National bowler Tun Ameerul Hakim Tun Hasnul Azam has etched his name in the history books.

The 25-year-old became the first Malaysian to win the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) national tour title after beating American Kevin Cune 269-227 in the Chameleon Championship final at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nevada on Tuesday (March 18).

“It feels amazing to lift this title and be the first Malaysian to do so.
“I hope this is a start to more wins this year,” he said after winning the title.
