JOHOR BAHRU 10 March 2026 (The Capital Post)- An officer from the Immigration Department of Malaysia has been detained over allegations of abusing the maid permit approval process in Johor.

The arrest was carried out by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) following an investigation into suspected misconduct linked to the issuance of permits for foreign domestic workers.
