BANGKOK, 26 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Mohamad Alamin today held a bilateral meeting with Advisor to Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Weerasak Khowsurat, at the Naree Samosorn Building, Government House, Bangkok.
The meeting served as an important platform to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and Thailand, particularly in trade, entrepreneurship development and enhancing regional economic networks.
Both parties also exchanged views on potential strategic collaborations while exploring new opportunities to empower local enterprises and expand regional market access.
The session was attended by delegations from the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP), SME Bank, the Malaysia Cooperative Societies Commission (SKM), MITI Bangkok and officers from the Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok.

According to the ministry, the engagement reflects continued efforts by both countries to strengthen economic cooperation and create mutual benefits through closer regional partnerships.
