PUTRAJAYA, 28 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) is intensifying integrated enforcement operations nationwide to combat leakages, smuggling and the misappropriation of controlled goods in efforts to safeguard public welfare and national supply stability.
Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said KDN would continue strengthening strategic enforcement efforts to ensure the safety of the people and maintain national stability.
According to the ministry, enforcement operations are being carried out comprehensively involving inspections of storage facilities, business premises, transport lorries, warehouses and supply chains involving controlled goods such as diesel, petrol, cooking oil, wheat flour and other essential items.
Among the main focuses of the operations are combating leakages and smuggling of subsidised goods, ensuring stable supplies of essential necessities, protecting government subsidies from abuse, strengthening integrated nationwide enforcement actions and implementing strict measures against law violations without compromise.

KDN also reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing Smart Enforcement approaches and intelligence-based operations through strategic cooperation among multiple agencies to safeguard economic security and the wellbeing of Malaysians.
