KUALA LUMPUR, 5 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Education (MOE) has expressed its deepest appreciation following the visit of Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong, Raja Zarith Sofiah, to Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih (SBJK) in Kuala Lumpur.
The royal visit, which took place at 11am, was held in conjunction with the Official Birthday Celebration of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia. Her Majesty was welcomed by Prime Minister’s wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, MOE Secretary-General Wan Hashim Wan Rahim and Director-General of Education Malaysia Mohd Azam Ahmad.
The programme featured cultural performances by SBJK students and provided an opportunity for Her Majesty to engage with teachers and students.
During the visit, Raja Zarith Sofiah graciously presented a contribution of RM30,000 to SBJK in support of the school and its educational initiatives.
Her Majesty also toured exhibitions showcasing students’ handicrafts and witnessed traditional dance performances prepared by the school community.

Earlier, during a briefing session, the Ministry of Education informed Her Majesty that SBJK had achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations from 2022 to 2025.
The ministry described the royal visit as a meaningful occasion that left a lasting impact on students and educators, while inspiring renewed motivation among the school community.
