RELA Honours Outstanding Personnel at 2025 Excellence Service Awards Ceremony

PUTRAJAYA, 5 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The People’s Volunteer Corps (RELA) recognised its outstanding personnel, staff and retirees during the 2025 Excellence Service Awards (APC) and RELA Appreciation Ceremony held at Dewan Seri Melati, Putrajaya.

The ceremony was officiated by Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who commended the recipients for their dedication, commitment and exemplary service in carrying out their responsibilities.

In his speech, Saifuddin congratulated all award recipients and emphasised the importance of strengthening a culture of excellence, integrity and high performance to ensure RELA continues to earn public trust and respect.

A total of 125 personnel were recognised during the event for their contributions throughout 2025. The recipients included 82 Excellence Service Award (APC) recipients, 28 departmental medal recipients and 15 retirees who had completed their service.

The ceremony also witnessed Rosli Yaakub, Director-General of the People’s Volunteer Corps (RELA), receiving the Pingat Gagah RELA in recognition of his contributions and service to the department.

Also in attendance were Deputy Secretary-General (Management) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ainah Mohd Soon, senior management representatives from the ministry and its agencies, as well as RELA personnel being honoured.

The ministry expressed its appreciation to all recipients and hoped the recognition would continue to inspire excellence in public service and strengthen the spirit of serving religion, nation and country.
