KUALA LUMPUR, 12 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Home Ministry (KDN) has intensified preparations for the upcoming Parliamentary sitting through its Parliamentary Management Meeting No. 2/2026, aimed at coordinating ministry affairs and streamlining responses to questions from lawmakers.
The three-day meeting was chaired by Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Shamsul Anuar Nasarah and focused on ensuring the ministry is fully prepared for the Second Meeting of the Fifth Session of the 15th Parliament.
According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the meeting served as a platform to review ministry matters and coordinate responses to parliamentary inquiries ahead of the upcoming sittings.
The Dewan Rakyat session is scheduled to run for 16 days from 22 June to 16 July 2026, while the Dewan Negara will convene for 10 days from 20 July to 4 August 2026.

Also in attendance were Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Dr. Awang Alik Jeman, deputy secretary-general (Security) Datuk Abdul Halim Abdul Rahman, deputy secretary-general (Policy and Control) Datuk Makhzan Mahyuddin, deputy secretary-general (Management) Ainah Mohd Soon, divisional secretaries, heads of departments and agencies, as well as senior ministry officials.
The ministry said the meeting reflects its commitment to ensuring effective parliamentary engagement and coordinated policy responses in support of the government’s legislative and administrative agenda. – The Capital Post
