TUDM Anniversary Blood Drive Draws Strong Support

BUKIT IBAM, 12 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – A blood donation programme held in conjunction with the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s (TUDM) 68th anniversary celebration attracted strong participation, reflecting the community spirit and commitment of military personnel towards humanitarian causes.

Organised by PPAT SLTT in collaboration with the Blood Bank Unit of Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Temerloh, the programme was held at Dewan Seri Ibam and received an encouraging response from donors.

According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Pertahanan Malaysia, a total of 88 individuals registered to donate blood, with 53 successfully completing the donation process.

The initiative contributed to ongoing efforts to maintain adequate national blood supplies for patients requiring transfusions and emergency medical treatment.

Organisers said the programme also served as a platform to promote volunteerism and encourage a culture of helping others through meaningful community contributions.

The ministry expressed its appreciation to the Blood Bank Unit of Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Temerloh, programme personnel and all donors for their support in ensuring the success of the initiative.
