PUTRAJAYA, 16 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Education (KPM) today recognised the contributions and dedication of its personnel through the Excellent Service Award (APC), Excellent Service Medal (PPC) and Jasamu Dikenang 2025/2026 ceremony held at Dewan Seri Siantan, Kompleks Perbadanan Putrajaya.
The ceremony was officiated by Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh.
According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, a total of 394 recipients received the APC, while six individuals were awarded the PPC. The ministry also honoured 67 retirees for their years of service and commitment to strengthening Malaysia’s education system.
KPM said the recognition reflects the ministry’s appreciation for excellence, dedication and integrity among its workforce, while encouraging a culture of high performance and impactful service delivery.
The ministry noted that educators play a crucial role in realising the aspirations of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2026–2035, particularly in enhancing education quality, strengthening digital education and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, nurturing MADANI values and expanding access to quality education.

It said the success of the blueprint depends not only on policy planning but also on the commitment of teachers and education personnel in translating these initiatives into meaningful outcomes for students.
The event also served as a platform to honour retirees whose contributions and sacrifices have left a lasting impact on the nation’s education sector.
KPM extended its congratulations to all APC and PPC recipients and expressed its appreciation to the retirees, describing their service as a source of inspiration for future generations of educators. – The Capital Post
