PUTRAJAYA, 25 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) hosted the Low Altitude Economy (LAE) Forum 2026 in Putrajaya, bringing together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, researchers, technology innovators and stakeholders to discuss the future development of Malaysia’s low altitude aviation sector.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, the forum was officiated and launched by Transport Minister YB Loke Siew Fook.
CAAM expressed appreciation to the minister, speakers, panellists, participants and stakeholders for their support and participation, noting that the strong turnout reflected growing interest and momentum in Malaysia’s Low Altitude Economy agenda.
The forum served as a platform for discussions on regulatory frameworks, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration aimed at ensuring the safe, orderly and sustainable integration of emerging aviation technologies into the national airspace ecosystem.
