SUBANG JAYA, 25 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) has been ranked the top hospital in Malaysia across five medical specialties and emerged as ASEAN’s leading hospital for gastroenterology in Newsweek’s Best Specialized Hospitals Asia Pacific 2026 rankings.
The recognition marks the third consecutive year that SJMC has been named Malaysia’s most-listed hospital in the prestigious rankings, further strengthening its reputation as one of the region’s leading healthcare institutions.
SJMC secured the No. 1 position in Malaysia for Oncology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology and Paediatrics. The hospital also achieved Top 25 Asia-Pacific rankings in Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Gastroenterology.
Other specialties performed strongly on the regional stage, with Endocrinology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurology and Oncology ranking within the Top 50, while Cardiology, Neurosurgery and Pulmonology were placed among the Top 75 hospitals in the Asia-Pacific region.
Chief Executive Officer of SJMC and Regional Chief Executive Officer of Asia OneHealthcare, Bryan Lin, said the recognition reflects the hospital’s continued commitment to clinical excellence, innovation and patient-centred care.
He noted that SJMC’s strong performance across 10 specialties demonstrates the depth of expertise within its multidisciplinary teams, particularly its paediatric services, which are supported by more than four decades of experience.
