Bhd. and Rocket Technologies International (RTI) Pty Ltd during his official working visit to Australia.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in enhancing Malaysia’s defence industry, particularly in the development of rocket and missile technologies through strategic cooperation with Australia.

The partnership will facilitate technology transfer, research and development (R&D), human capital development, and collaboration with higher education institutions. It also includes plans to establish a production facility in Malaysia, with rocket manufacturing expected to commence within the next two years before expanding into missile production in the future.

The initiative is expected to create opportunities for local defence companies to participate in the global supply chain while strengthening the country’s indigenous defence capabilities in line with the National Defence Industry Policy (DIPN).
