UMK shares entrepreneurship agenda with KPT secretary-general

PUTRAJAYA, 9 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) shared its achievements and future direction during a courtesy visit by its vice-chancellor to the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) secretary-general on Wednesday.

UMK Vice-Chancellor Datuk Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Arham Abdullah led the delegation in a meeting with KPT Secretary-General Datuk Ts. Dr. Aminuddin Hassim in Putrajaya.

The session began with an introduction to UMK, followed by a briefing on the university’s latest developments, including its achievements, strategic initiatives and long-term direction in strengthening its role as Malaysia’s entrepreneurship-focused university.

The meeting also covered university administrative matters aimed at ensuring sustainable institutional operations and the effective implementation of its development agenda.

Both parties exchanged views on initiatives that could further support institutional growth, strengthen the national entrepreneurship agenda and contribute to the advancement of Malaysia’s higher education sector.
