PUTRAJAYA, 9 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim welcomed Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul during an official arrival ceremony held at Kompleks Bunga Raya and Perdana Putra on Wednesday.
The two-day official visit marks Anutin’s first visit to Malaysia since being reappointed as Thailand’s Prime Minister in March 2026, following an invitation from Anwar.
The visit reflects the longstanding close relations between Malaysia and Thailand while providing an opportunity to further strengthen strategic cooperation across various sectors for the mutual benefit of both countries and their people.
