KUCHING, Sarawak, 15 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) Secretary-General Datuk Wira Anis Rizana Mohd Zainudin visited the Sarawak Meteorological Department to assess meteorological service delivery and strengthen coordination for more efficient and responsive services.
The visit aimed to enhance strategic collaboration in improving weather forecasting capabilities, early warning systems for disasters and the delivery of accurate meteorological information.
The initiative is expected to help communities make early preparations to reduce risks while safeguarding lives and property.
