MOT Launches MADANI Community and School Initiatives in Seremban

SEREMBAN, 16 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Transport (MOT) strengthened the Malaysia MADANI agenda through the launch of the Kampung Angkat MADANI (KAM), Sekolah Angkat MADANI (SAM) and Santuni MADANI programmes for 2026 by Transport Minister Loke Siew Fook at Kampung Mantin Dalam, Seremban.

The long-term programmes reflect the values of wellbeing and compassion through a ground-level approach aimed at supporting holistic community development.

For the KAM programme at Kampung Baru Mantin, a total allocation of RM600,000 has been provided, with RM500,000 channelled to the Seremban City Council (MBS) for physical infrastructure improvements, while RM100,000 has been allocated to IKBN Chembong for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes to encourage creativity and create career opportunities for youth.

Through the SAM initiative, SJK(C) Chung Hua Mantin received RM100,000 for the purchase of Smart Boards as well as professional training for teachers and administrative staff to strengthen digital education capabilities.

Meanwhile, the Santuni MADANI programme at Kampung Mantin Dalam focuses on road safety awareness through helmet distribution and addressing local community issues based on the values of mutual respect and togetherness.
