PUTRAJAYA, 16 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) continues to strengthen occupational safety and health (OSH) practices through the Occupational Safety and Health (KKP) Petrol Station Roadshow Programme 2026 to raise awareness and promote safer working practices in the retail petroleum sector.
The programme was launched with a flag-off ceremony officiated by KESUMA Deputy Secretary-General (Operations), Sutekno Ahmad Belon, at Dewan Serbaguna Setia Perkasa 3, Putrajaya.
Organised by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (JKKP) Malaysia, the programme is carried out in collaboration with Social Security Organisation (PERKESO), BHPetrol and PETRONAS.
In his speech, Sutekno emphasised that occupational safety and health is a key pillar in national development as it protects workers, improves productivity and strengthens industry competitiveness.

He also called on all stakeholders to cultivate risk prevention as a daily practice, especially within petrol station operations that involve various workplace hazards.
The programme also serves as an advocacy and engagement platform with industry players to strengthen strategic cooperation in promoting a safe and healthy work culture for workers’ wellbeing and sustainable industry growth.
