LABUAN, 16 July 2026 (The Capital Post) β The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) continues to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) infrastructure through the handover ceremony of the ADTEC JTM Labuan Campus quarters to enhance staff welfare and support the delivery of quality skills training.
The handover ceremony was officiated by KESUMA Secretary-General Datuk Haji Azman Mohd Yusof and was attended by Director-General of the Department of Skills Development (JTM) Datuk Rospiagos Taha, as well as KESUMA Development, Finance and Human Resources Division Secretary Dato’ Haji Ahmad Firdaus Baharuddin.
Also present were representatives from the Public Works Department Malaysia, Labuan Federal Territory Public Works Department, contractors and related agencies.

The construction project consists of two blocks of Class F and Class G quarters, comprising 32 residential units. The facility reflects the MADANI Governmentβs commitment to providing modern, comfortable and conducive amenities to support staff accommodation needs while creating a more productive working environment.
The new quarters are expected to benefit ADTEC JTM Labuan Campus personnel while serving as a valuable government asset that contributes towards strengthening the institutionβs role in producing highly skilled human capital and advancing the national TVET empowerment agenda.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Sumber Manusia, the initiative highlights the ministryβs continuous efforts to improve TVET facilities and create a stronger ecosystem for skills development in Malaysia.- The Capital Post.
