KOTA KINABALU, 20 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Works (KKR) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration across its agencies to enhance the delivery of infrastructure projects and support Malaysia’s long-term development agenda.
The ministry held its Executive Talk session themed “Sinergi Keluarga Raya: Merangkum Resolusi 2025 dan Mengemudi Masa Depan Infrastruktur Negara” in conjunction with the Strategic Collaboration Programme for Malaysia’s Works Sector at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu.
Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi attended the programme alongside the ministry’s top leadership, the Public Works Department (JKR) and agencies under the “Keluarga Raya” umbrella.
The session focused on strengthening collaboration among KKR agencies, reviewing the implementation of the 2025 resolutions, and identifying strategies to improve the delivery of high-impact national infrastructure projects.

Discussions also highlighted the adoption of green technologies, construction digitalisation and climate resilience to support sustainable infrastructure development, while emphasising the importance of ensuring the smooth implementation of key projects in Sabah and Sarawak, including the Pan Borneo Highway and federal road maintenance.
Alexander said close collaboration among KKR personnel remains essential in supporting the Malaysia MADANI agenda through the delivery of sustainable, safe and people-centric infrastructure.
