KUALA LUMPUR, 6 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – MBAM OneBuild 2026 has returned to gather stakeholders from the construction and infrastructure sectors, providing a platform to showcase innovation, technology and sustainable solutions for the industry.
The 12th edition of the event was officially launched by Works Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Azman Ibrahim at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), where it will run from 5 to 7 August 2026.
This year’s event features more than 250 exhibitors and 400 exhibition booths, with over 10,000 trade visitors expected from various sectors including construction, infrastructure and hardware industries.
Carrying the theme “Smart Cities Building Tomorrow”, MBAM OneBuild 2026 highlights the latest technologies and innovations, including Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital construction technologies, Internet of Things (IoT)-based infrastructure, energy-efficient green buildings and smart mobility solutions.

The Ministry of Works said the exhibition plays an important role in strengthening the construction ecosystem by encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation and collaboration among industry players.
The event also supports efforts towards developing smarter and more sustainable cities through the adoption of advanced construction technologies.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Kerja Raya Malaysia, the ministry encourages its personnel, agencies and industry stakeholders to participate in exploring new technologies, expanding networks and driving transformation within Malaysia’s construction sector. – The Capital Post.
