KESUMA Celebrates National Month, Strengthens Spirit of Patriotism

PUTRAJAYA, 19 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) today held its August Monthly Assembly and 2026 National Month Celebration at the Level 7 Hall, Menara PERKESO, Putrajaya.

The event was officiated by Human Resources Minister Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan and served as a platform to strengthen unity, patriotism and KESUMA personnel’s commitment to carrying out their responsibilities to the people and country.

The celebration also featured the launch ceremony for the 2026 National Month Celebration and the presentation of Jalur Gemilang to heads of KESUMA departments and agencies, symbolising patriotism, unity and love for the country.

The presentation of the national flags also reflected KESUMA personnel’s commitment to further promote the spirit of independence and appreciate the values of struggle and sacrifice in building a peaceful, sovereign and prosperous Malaysia.

The spirit of unity and patriotism demonstrated during the event is in line with the Malaysia MADANI aspiration, particularly the Well-being pillar, which emphasises building a harmonious and respectful society that contributes collectively to the nation’s progress.

KESUMA will continue strengthening a work culture based on integrity, professionalism and a people-oriented approach to ensure public services remain efficient, responsive and effective.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Human Resources, the event was held as part of KESUMA’s efforts to foster patriotism and national unity among its personnel. – The Capital Post
