PUTRAJAYA, 20 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), YBhg. Dato’ Sri Haji Mad Zaidi bin Mohd Karli, today received a courtesy visit from Perak State Secretary YB Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi bin Abdul Rahim at Menara PETRA.
The meeting focused on strengthening strategic cooperation between the Federal Government and the Perak state government, particularly in ensuring long-term energy sustainability and water supply security.
Both sides agreed that any issues or challenges arising should be addressed promptly through joint intervention to ensure the smooth implementation of energy and water supply projects.
The cooperation also aims to safeguard the welfare of Perak residents by ensuring a stable water supply while supporting the state’s socioeconomic growth.
