KUALA LUMPUR, 20 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail today received a courtesy call from retired DCP Dato’ Tan Chong Jin, former Commandant of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Kuala Lumpur Police College, at the IGP’s Guest Room, Bukit Aman.
The meeting focused on a proposal to establish the Malaysian Chinese Police Officers Retirees Association, as well as obtaining views and support on the registration process with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia.

Discussions also emphasised the association’s governance to ensure its management and operations are carried out in an orderly, transparent and integrity-driven manner in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Also present were Bukit Aman Special Branch I Deputy Director CP Dato’ Mohd Taufik Toh Abdullah; Bukit Aman Management (Services/Staffing) Deputy Director DCP Datuk Md Nazri Zawawi; Secretary of the Royal Malaysia Police DCP Dato’ Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali; and KPN Secretariat (Legal) Head SAC Lim Chee Wah.
