KUALA LUMPUR, 24 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Precious of Malaysia Citraloka 2026 programme will showcase Malaysia’s artistic and cultural heritage through a fashion showcase during the Malaysia Cultural Festival 2026.
The programme’s media conference was launched by MOTAC Deputy Secretary-General (Culture) YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Yusri bin Mohd Yusoff at Laman Wau, Kompleks Kraftangan Malaysia, on 20 August 2026.
The event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) and FM Group as strategic partners and will take place from 11 to 16 September 2026 in conjunction with the Malaysia Cultural Festival 2026.
The programme will feature fashion presentations reflecting Malaysia’s diverse identity and heritage, while supporting efforts to preserve and promote the country’s arts, culture and creative industry.

Also present were Malaysia Handicraft Development Corporation Director-General YBrs. Encik Abdul Halim bin Ali; National Creative Industry Trust Foundation President YBhg. Datuk Zulkifli bin Ishak; MOTAC Events Management Division Secretary YBrs. Encik Mohamd Raizuli bin Mat Jusoh; and FM Group Managing Director Jonathan Kok and Director En. Farel Mikhail.
The organisers said the initiative reflects their commitment to bringing Malaysian arts and culture to a wider platform while strengthening appreciation for the country’s cultural heritage.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, the programme will form part of the Malaysia Cultural Festival 2026 and highlight Malaysia’s cultural identity through fashion and creative expression. – The Capital Post
